Classes & Registration

Registration for the 2021/22 school year is now open! We are back with in person classes for children and adults.

Our Classes: The school prides itself on small class size, a unified approach to curriculum, and highly-trained teaching staff. The German School of Madison also organizes several well-attended, family friendly events throughout the year, which serve to educate children and adults about German culture and to build connections within the Madison German-speaking community.

Initial student placement is based on age and the grade a student enters in the Fall. To accommodate different proficiency levels and accomodate Covid-19 restrictions, we keep our class sizes capped at 10 students. Our classes from grades K to 7+ are designed around a two-year curriculum; students will normally stay in these classes for two years.
