Der Nikolaus kommt!

You are cordially invited to our annual Nikolaus Festival Potluck Celebration with guests from the Wisconsin Chamber Choir and, of course, St. Nikolaus.

Date: Saturday, December 8th

Location: Goodman Community Center, Brassworks Building, 214 Waubesa St, Madison.  Room: TASC A & B, 2nd floor https://www.goodmancenter.org/about/brassworks

*** IMPORTANT! If your children are enrolled at GSoM this year, please note these class changes for the 8th***

Entchen and Spatzen (pre-K/Kindergarten) classes combined from 2-3pm at Lake Edge church to allow for group arts and craft and story time with St. Nik at the Goodman center.

Early release for all remaining classes at 4:15pm

Timeline for event:

3:15-4 pm: Arts & Crafts for younger children 2-6 y/o

4 – 4:30 pm: Story time with St Nikolaus for younger children (in German and English) with treats

4:45 pm: Performance and group sing with members from the Wisconsin Chamber Choir and a visit from St. Nikolaus

We will sing a welcome song (Lasst Uns Froh und Munter Sein) for St. Nikolaus as a group. If you want to familiarize yourself with the song beforehand, please see this video.

5:30pm – POTLUCK DINNER

Please bring a contribution to the potluck (main dish, salad, bread, dessert).  We will have plates and plasticware available, but you are welcome to bring yours from home if you would like (less waste).

7pm – event ends
